Walter Merchant House is a historic home located at Albany, Albany County, New York. It was built in 1869 and is a two story brick townhouse structure with a brownstone facade in the Italianate style. A finely detailed cast iron fence and gate separate the sidewalk from the building's shallow front lawn. Also on the property is a two story, seven bay wide brick carriage house.[2]

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.[1]
